Post Event: Club’s 120th Anniversary Religious Ceremony

On Monday 6, September 2021, the Royal Bangkok Sports Club held a merit-making ceremony to mark the auspicious occasion of the 120th anniversary of the Club. The Brahmin ritual started at 7:39 a.m., led by the Club’s chairman, Khun Kittipong Decha-Umphai, the General Committee and Members, performed the spirits worshipping rituals at the Club’s shrines with several offerings and garlands.

Then at 9:09 a.m., the Buddhist ceremony was held at the Henri Dunant Hall. Nine monks were invited to perform the ceremony, which included giving offerings dedicated to the monks by the General Committee and the Members, praying, and receiving blessings to ensure the prosperity of the Club.
