1901 King Chulalongkorn grants the Royal Charter establishing The Royal Bangkok Sports Club on 6 September
1903 Horse racing begins at the Club in January
1904 Drainage of the Club grounds begins in preparation for introduction of other sports
1905 Cricket begins at the Club
1906 Golf course opens
1907 First rugby games are held at the Club
1909 Squash court are added to the Club's facilities
1910 Death of King Chulalongkorn
   
1911 First aircraft ever seen in Thailand takes off from the Club's grounds for a demonstration flight
1912 J. Caulfield James, Chairman of the Club, applies to the Privy Purse for loan of 250,000.- to demolish clubhouse and build new one; approved by King Vajiravudh; given by the Department of Finance,1913
1915 King Vajiravudh opens new clubhouse on 23 November following football match between Thai players and RBSC members
1920 RBSC rugby team travels south by train for interport match against Penang Sports Club
1925 Death of King Vajiravudh
1926 King Prajadhipok presents squash cup to the Club and also becomes the first Thai ruler to play a round of golf on the Club's course
   
1931 Interport cricket match is held in Penang, RBSC versus PSC for the Elephant Trophy
1933 Fifty-metre Olympic-size swimming pool opens at the Club
1934 King Prajadhipok attends squash exhibition match played by Victor Cazelet, the former Amateur Champion of England
1941 Racing is suspended at the Club in March; on 8 December Japanese army takes over the Club premises; Mom Chao Rachada Bhisek Sonakul becomes first Thai Chairman of the Club, remaining in office until 1946
1945 Pacific war ends in August
   
1946 Death of King Ananda Mahidol; the Club swimming pool reopens on 17 November; membership cards are introduced in December; work begins on restoration of golf course
1947 Racing resumes at the Club
1948 Eleven-hole golf course opens in January; first postwar tennis tournaments is held in March; Ladies Golf Subcommittee forms in April; RBSC applies for new loan of 400,000.- from the Crown Property Bureau to renovate and reconstruct the Club buildings
1949 By permission of King Bhumibol Adulyadej, annual race called 'His Majesty The King's Cup' begins
1950 Coronation of King Bhumibol Adulyadej
1954 Bridge Section established.
1955 Wading pool for children opens.
1961 RBSC celebrates Fifth-Cycle Anniversary.
1964 Police General Chamras Mandukananda becomes Chairman; Soccer Section revives.
1967 Martial Arts Section established.
1970 Jogging Section established.
1973 RBSC celebrates Sixth-Cycle Anniversary; demonstration by students results in overthrow of military government.
1977 New 25-metre pool adds to the Club's facilities; other improvements include new sports pavilion with incorporated spectator stand, air-conditioning of men's and ladies' changing rooms, and extension of main office.
   
1978 The Club acquires lease on the Polo Club.
1979 Lawn Bowls and Physical Fitness Sections established.
1981 Riding Section established at the Polo Club.
1982 Swimming pool and clubhouse at the Polo Club open to associate members.
1985 The Club celebrates Seventh-Cycle Anniversary; 12-year-old Tiger Woods plays special match on the Club course.
1996 King Bhumibol Adulyadej celebrates his Golden Jubilee on the throne of Thailand.
1999 Pong Sarasin steps down as Chairman after 22 years; his successor is Prateep Chirakiti.
2000 RBSC votes to build new 454.- million baht multi-purpose facility. RBSC's lease agreement with the Crown Property Bureau is extended to the year 2036.
   
2001 RBSC celebrates 100th Anniversary and hosts the 28th Asian Racing Conference. Club's official magazine, the RBSC Magazine is launched. The Winning Post is  built at the Grand Stand. 
2002 Work on, The "Rajkreetha Sports Complex", a multi-functional Sports & Recreation Centre begins.
2003 Terms of the General Committee, approved by members, is extended from one to two year term and a third had to step down at the end of each term.
2004 A 25 metre swimming pool was built at the RBSC Polo Club. The "Rajkreetha Sports Complex" is complete. 
2005 Official opening ceremony of the Rajkreetha Sports Complex in the presence of His Majesty the King's Representative, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn and Her Royal Highness Princess Srirasm, the Royal Consort of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn. 30-year lease agreement for the RBSC Polo Club is signed with the Crown Property Bureau. 
2006 A new swimming pool project is approved for construction at RBSC.
